ELLSWORTH — “Essential Peacemaking: Women and Men” is one of a dozen workshops the Ellsworth Center of the University of Maine System is offering this winter at several locations in Hancock County.

The workshops, offered through the Education Network of Maine, are designed to provide information or to build skills in a variety of areas including academic skills, health and wellness issues, career options and interpersonal skills.

All workshops are free and run from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at locations in Ellsworth, Deer Isle, East Sullivan, Orland, Mount Desert and Winter Harbor.
