EAST SULLIVAN – Dara Glass scored 18 points for Sumner which came back from a 15-point halftime deficit for a 55-48 schoolgirl basketball victory over George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill here Thursday night.

Melanie Dodge added 17 points and Tema Rogers 10 to Sumner’s eighth win against 10 defeats.

Deirdre Disney-Houi and Mandi Carter each scored 12 points for Stevens which also finished the regular season 8-10.

Karen Burden tossed in 22 for the Pirates, Dari Ann White had 17, and Kassy Dulac scored 15 points in a losing effort.

Laura LaVallee paced the winners with 13 points and six steals. Mayo grabbed 10 rebounds and Casey Lowell notched four assists.
