THOMASTON — A workshop on writing and publishing fiction will be offered at the Thomaston Center, University of Maine System, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 4. The noncredit program meets for five weeks and is designed for beginning and experienced writers.

The workshop covers aspects of fiction writing as well as markets and working with agents and editors.

Workshop leader Christopher Fahy is author of eight novels and numerous short stories and anthologies.
