Radio station WSNV, 103.9 FM, Bangor, resumed broadcasting Monday after three weeks of silence caused by the collapse of the tower serving its transmitter atop Passadumkeag Mountain.
The tower collapse was caused by heavy ice accumulation.
A temporary tower has been erected, which is 1,600 feet above sea level, compared with the original tower’s 1,900 feet.
Several new talk programs have been added to the station’s schedule.
WSNV is the local affiliate of the EIB Network, which distributes the Rush Limbaugh Show.
