Crossing the border

I can’t let your Feb. 2 editorial, “Testing cars again,” go without comment.

When are you good folks going to tell it like it is? Most of our pollution problems comes across the border. A good part of the other pollution comes from burning blueberry land and not diesel trucks as we’re led to believe.

If this is not enough we could send those old cars to the grave that were going to be exempted because people couldn’t afford to tune them up. M.E. Owen Pembroke
