Sawmill loses toolboxes in Little Squaw theft

LITTLE SQUAW TOWNSHIP — Tools and toolboxes valued at more than $7,000 were taken in a break-in at a sawmill in Little Squaw Township, Sunday.

Investigator Scott Richardson of the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Department said owners Fred Bouley and Lloyd Worster reported that someone entered the building through the back end of the mill, which was open.

The owners reported that a red Snap-On tool chest, a gray Craftsman tool chest, an assortment of tools and a chain saw were taken in the break-in.

Richardson asked anyone who saw any activity in the area of the sawmill between Sunday and Monday to call him at 564-3304 or 1-800-432-7372.
