PEMBROKE — Calvin Preston, consultant for the Washington County Refuse Disposal District, will issue a report on countywide coordination of transfer stations at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the elementary school. Progress reports will be given concerning proposals to organize all transfer station operators, and the feasibility of joining with Canadians in a new landfill operation at Charlotte County, New Brunswick.
