CARIBOU – The Nokomis Warriors beat Caribou in the first game 7-3, but the Vikings came back to win the second 9-8 in a schoolboy baseball doubleheader Saturday.
In the first game, Harvey Kosowski had an RBI double and Spencer Day and Jeremy Brooks each had two singles for the Warriors.
Scott Gove and Matt Hunter led the Vikings with a double and single each.
In the second game, Kris Snider ripped a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game before Pat Towle scored the winning run on a Nokomis error. Snider had a double to go with his home run. Hunter, Mark Beaulieu and Jason Witts each had two hits for the Vikings.
Darrin Smith had a double and single while Jeremy Bragg had two singles to pace Nokomis.

At East Millinocket, Ray Houston struck out seven and walked none, scattering two hits over seven innings to lead the host Wolverines to the shutout.
Michael Panasci drove in Brooks Sturtevant with the winning run in the sixth for Schenck, then scored on an RBI single from Josh Rabel.
Kenny Glidden and Matt Daigle had base hits for the Lynx. Pitcher Randy Martinez struck out four and walked six.

Nokomis and Caribou split
At Caribou, the host Vikings were defeated 15-7 in the first game by Nokomis of Newport, but came back to win 18-4 in the second.
In the first game, Kelly Bowman hit three home runs and singled, driving in seven runs to spark Nokomis. Megan Costerilo scored four times for the Warriors, and Laurie Claing had an RBI on three base hits.
Meaghan Lombard knocked in two runs with two singles for Caribou, and Kim Landeen added two singles and a double.
Erin Cole-Karagory and Carlyn McCormick hit back-to-back home runs in the second game to lead Caribou. Lombard, Trisha Deprey, and Jessica Meir all had three singles for the Vikings.
Laurie Clam drove in two runs on a base hit for Nokomis.
