HOLLAND, N.Y. – Dave Dion of Hudson, New Hampshire made up for a slow qualifying effort to win the Busch 150 of the NASCAR Bush North Series, Grand National Division.

Dion started from the 14th position and took the lead on lap 86. Kelly Moore of Scarborough finished second. Andy Santerre of Cherryfield took third with his best effort of the season.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway

At Scarborough, Tom Oliver of Scarborough took the lead of the Late Model Division feature on lap eleven and never looked back.

Danny Bubar of Windham took second place after a spin sent a closing Joe Bowser to the rear of the pack. Mike Johnson of Scarborough finished in third place.

At Unity, Glendon Mehuren of Morrill posted his first win of the season in the Super Streets 50 lap Special. Ken Pelotte of Fairfield, a three-time winner this year, took second place. Dana Strout finished in the third position.

At Barre, Vt., Ralph Nason of Unity posted his second victory in four starts on the ACT Tour by taking the checkered flag in the Bond Auto Memorial Day Classic.

Tracy Gordon of Strong took second and Kip Stockwell of Randolph, Vermont finished third.

Winterport Dragway

At Winterport, Jerry Hatch of Lubec edged Jamie Watson of Ellsworth by a few hundredths of a second in the $500 bracket bash feature race here at Winterport Dragway Sunday.

Bar Harbor’s Jeff Paluga had a great night of competition – winning the high school division race and finishing second in the street class.
