ROCKLAND — The Knox County Democratic Committee will meet twice in June, to discuss conservation and discrimination.

The first meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Stella Maris House at Broadway and Route 1. It will be a joint meeting with the Knox County Greens to discuss common ground for the two groups. The public is invited to attend. Refreshment will be served. There will be no business meeting on June 13.

At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, also at Stella Maris, the Knox County Democrats will meet with the local chapter of Maine Won’t Discriminate to discuss common goals in this year’s elections. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served. After the discussion there will be a short business meeting focusing on fund-raising events of the season.
