Nightingale, Pankratz notch aces

ISLAND FALLS – Two holes-in-one were recorded at the Va Jo Wa Golf Club recently. On June 21, Carrol Nightingale of Patton scored an ace on the 119-yard sixth hole. He used a pitching wedge. Jim Qualey attested to the feat.

Lightning struck again on June 28. Martin Pankratz of Island Falls was the player this time around. Martin perfected the 155-yard 16th hole with his 7-iron. Warren Walker was the witness.
