DEER ISLE — The Haystack Mountain School of Crafts will begin its third session of evening programs which will run at 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, July 3-5, and Saturday, July 8, and will include a vaudeville performance and auction at the Gateway Building.
Ceramist Robert Turner and metalsmith David Watkins will be featured Monday. On Tuesday, fiber artist Warren Seelig and printmaker Siri Beckman will speak. On Wednesday, blacksmith Brent Kington and woodworker Bob Trotman will speak.
Randy Judkins, a visual, verbal and character comedian, will perform on Saturday, July 8.
The Blue Heron Gallery will hold an opening reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 9. Lectures by teaching assistants will be given on Monday, July 10. On Tuesday, July 11, the Haystack staff will present their work. For information, call 348-2306.
