It seems appalling that the management of Bangor International Airport feels it is so strapped financially that it is obliged to go through with the deal to have low-level nuclear waste shipped from Bangor to Daghestan in spite of the fact that the health of perhaps hundreds of people could be endangered, and the already worsening polution problems in the area made moreso.
Also, none of the articles I have seen so far has mentioned what kind of cargo they intend to ship back from Daghestan, or if there is a way or not to know whether one or more of the various mafias might be involved. The whole deal sounds murky and dangerous. Sally Sweet Bangor
