BANGOR – Adam Greenlaw passed for 135 yards and one touchdown to lead the Stearns Minutemen to a 42-0 LTC football victory over the John Bapst Crusaders at Cameron Stadium Saturday night.
Frank Howes lead the Stearns air attack with 76 yards on three catches including a 20-yard touchdown pass from Greenlaw. Frank Bowley scored on runs of 3 and 4 yards and Brian Johnson and Leo Marqius added scores from 7 and 1, respectively. Joe Frost hit on six of six point-after attempts.

At Rockland, Brian Hetherman scored three touchdowns for the Maine Central Institute Huskies’ run over the Tigers.
Joey Bartlett drew first blood, followed by a pair of Matt York scores. David Heath converted on four PATs.
Ricky Smith had two interceptions for the Huskies of Pittsfield, Dan Bartlett blocked a punt, and Jason Cummings recovered a fumble.
For Rockland, senior running back Mike Robishaw rolled up 94 yards on 27 carries. Jon Gundall completed five of 11 passing attempts for 31 yards, and freshman Don Williams had a hand in 12 tackles and recovered a fumble.

At Winslow, Ruben Lemelin ran for three touchdowns and connected with receivers for another two scores to lead Winslow.
Lemelin connected with Joe Fernald for 50 yards and a 36-yarder to Jared Vigue.
For Old Town, Josh Lizzotte blocked and returned a punt 20 yards for a touchdown. Matt DeGrasse scored on a 2-yard run, and Ryan Miller connected with Nick Soucy on a 25-yard scoring pass.

At Waterville, Phil Alley’s three touchdown runs spelled out defeat for the previously undefeated Panthers.
Alley put together scoring runs of 11 yards and 25 yards, and hauled in a 2-yard pass from Paul Stilphen for all of Gardiner’s scoring.

At Guilford, the 6-1 Pirates used a balanced attack in the win over the 1-5-1 Howlers.
Todd Tufts led the way with two assists as Nathan Larson, Paul Regan, Tony Rizzitello, and Travis Drew each had a goal. Goalie Tony Draper saved four of 11 shots.
A Matt Menard penalty kick accounted for the Howler goal and Bruce Hallet stopped six of the 23 shots.
Sumner 4, Searsport 3 (1 OT)
At Searsport, Doug Welch converted a Carl Grosjean pass with 26 seconds left in the first overtime to give Sumner its third win against four losses.
Grosjean had a pair of goals for the winners and Emil Thomann had the other. Goalie Aaron Scott made seven saves on 12 shots.
Ryan DeRedin, James Goodwin and Dustin Nadeau had the goals for 1-6-1 Searsport with Nadeau also assisting on the other two goals. Nate Hall made 11 saves on 16 shots.
Presque Isle 8, Nokomis 1
At Presque Isle, Kasey Keenan and Tim Underwood had a goal and an assist to lead the onslaught for the 5-3-1 Wildcats.
Eric Saucier had two goals for the winners as Trevor Folsom, Jeremy Brooks, David Bonville, and Kyle Folsom chipped in a goal apiece. Goalies Gene Cronin and Ryan Czosnek combined for five saves on six Warrior shots.
For 3-4 Nokomis, Ben Baldwin scored unassisted as Jon Parker and Brandon Ellison stopped 12 of 22 Wildcat attempts.
MDI 3, John Bapst 0
At Mount Desert, Mark Ingrisano led the 6-0-3 Trojan attack with a goal and two assits.
Steve Salyer and Jeff Church added the other goals. Goalies Alfred Doyle and Kris Nelson combined for the shutout, saving four of six shots.
For 2-5-1 John Bapst, Jarrod Guimond rejected 12 of 17 shots.
Hermon 3, Bucksport 0
At Bucksport, Ken Peterson’s goal six minutes into the game gave the Hawks the win.
Peterson added a second goal and Mike Andersen had a goal for 3-2-2 Hermon. Sean Smith had nine saves on 17 shots.
Gerard Uffelman made seven saves on 13 shots for 2-4-2 Bucksport.
Caribou 4, Brewer 1
At Caribou, Jay Plourde recorded two goals and an assist to power the 3-6 Vikings to victory.
Plourde’s first goal came off a Ryan McCullough assist and the second unassisted. Ryan Soucie rounded out the Caribou scoring as goalies Jason St. Peter and Danny Funk combined for eight saves on nine shots.
Adam King provided the lone score for Brewer from Richard Trott. Tim Miller and David Johnson combined for six saves on 10 shots.
Greenville 4, Bangor Christian 1
At Bangor, Tom Deming scored a pair of goals to lead Greenville.
Rance McEachern and Jeremy Philbrook had goals for 6-1-1 Greenville and Pat Libby had an assist. Goalie Josh Glavine didn’t make a save on six shots.
Ryan Mick scored an unassisted goal for 5-2 Bangor Christian and goalie Alan Sage made 19 saves on 37 shots.

At Blue Hill, Derek Torrey led a three-goal, first-half attack, with a goal and an assist to power the 6-0-1 Eagles to victory.
Torrey scored unassisted and set up a Travis Vogell tally. Keith Marcinkus added a goal from Christian Newman and goalie James Inglis made seven saves on 11 shots.
For 1-7 Central, Nick Parent saved 15 on 30 Eagle shots.

Dexter 4, Schenck 1
At East Millinocket, two goals from Lynn Hersey lifted the 6-1 Tigers to the win.
Hersey scored both goals unassisted as Beth Moninski and Morgan Titus each added a goal apiece. Goalie Kim Breton stopped seven of 10 Wolverine shots.
Holly Rosebush tallied the lone goal for 1-4-2 Schenck as Courtney Coffin and Shauna Boyer combined on 20 of 34 in net.
Presque Isle 5, Nokomis 2
At Presque Isle, Katie Peers outdid herself with a four-goal day to pace the Wildcats to their ninth win.
Rachel Underwood drew first blood and added an assist for 9-0 Presque Isle. Peers’ received assists from Billie-Jo Deschesne, Stacey Kenney and Cara Miller. Shawn Callaghan made 10 saves on 12 shots.
For 1-6 Nokomis, Katie Burgess and Melissa Coppa each had goals, with assists from Kelly Madigan and Katie Nye. Monica Kus made 15 saves on 20 shots. Bucksport 1, Old Town 0
At Old Town, a Tina Ramsdell goal at 8:44 of the first half was the eventual game winner for the 6-2 Bucks.
The Ramsdell tally came unassisted off a rebound in front of the Old Town net. Goalie Karrie Hoke sent back seven of 11 shots.
For 0-6-1 Old Town, Kendra Brown stopped six of seven shots.
Caribou 4, Brewer 2
At Caribou, an Erin Cole-Karagory penalty kick was enough to put the Witches away.
Cole-Karagory’s second score with 19:50 remaining in the second half turned the tide for the 6-3 Vikings, putting them ahead 3-1. Cole-Karagory drew first blood with a score at 25:25 in the first off a Kim Landeen assist. Jennifer Corey added a goal and an asist, and Carrie Theriault knocked in a goal. Keeper Meghan Lombard made nine saves on 11 shots and had an assist on Corey’s goal.
Emily Sevigny brought the 2-5 Witches to within a goal of the lead with an unassisted score 3:59 into the second half. Rachel Young added a goal with 4:01 remaining in the second. Amanda Hussey had an assist and Heather Hogan made 12 stops on 16 shots.
Bangor 6, Hampden 2
At Bangor, Sarah Parcak and Cathy Flemming scored two goals and added two assists to power the 7-1 Ram attack over the 3-5 Broncos.
Emily Morse and Emily Ayer added a goal apiece for Bangor as goalie Anne Wright saved five of 14.
For Hampden, Lindsay Dilts and Tracey Dunton each recorded a goal. Shilo Marden sent back 12 of the 33 shots she saw.
Greenville 2, Bangor Christian 0
At Bangor, the 8-0 Lakers got goals from Melissa Grenier and and Sarah Folsom to help goalie Sara Ward shut out the 1-6 Patriots.
Grenier’s came on a penalty kick at the 34:29 mark of the first half and the Folsom tally came unassisted at the six-minute mark of the second. Sarah Ward saved one of the two shots she saw.
For Bangor Christian, Stephanie Regan rejected 14 on 32 attempts.

Foxcroft 3, John Bapst 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Becky Warren turned the tide for the Ponies who ran out of a 1-0 deficit for the win.
John Bapst’s Kate Strout scored with 10 minutes left in the first half off a Margaux Albair assist, but Warren answered with a goal on a Kelly Dow assist with three minutes remaining.
Warren’s second goal came with 14 minutes remaining in the second from a Amy Smith assist and Kylie Kimball iced the win with a penalty stroke. Hillary Steinke made three saves on four shots.
For 2-5-1 John Bapst, Edythe Dyer made two saves on six shots.

Dexter 1, Mattanawcook 1 (OT)
At Dexter, Mandi McLaughlin’s score with 13:17 remaining in the second half sent the teams into overtime and to Mattanawcook Academy’s third tie.
For 3-2-3 Lynx, Angie Brawn made six saves on 22 shots.
Megan Titus gave the 3-3-1 Tigers the lead with her goal off a Jen Jones assist with 19:21 left in the second half. Christina Dorman made fives saves on seven shots.

In Bath, Amy Vachon scored three goals and had one assist as 6-0 Rams defeated the 2-5 Shipbuilders.
Kathy Rodrigue had one goal and one assist, Sarah Morrill had two goals and two assists, Erica Pridham had one goal, and Shannon Finnigan and Lauran LaRochelle each added an assist. Jasmine Curtis had two saves for Cony.
Morse goalie Meredith Hill had 19 saves on 26 shots.
Old Town 2, Nokomis 1
At Newport, Neeburbunn Almenus’ goal in the first half’s last two minutes finished off the Warriors’ early lead to give the Indians their seventh win.
Kelley Emerson tied the game with 6:15 remaining in the first half for 7-1-1 Old Town, and Jaime Twitchell recorded an assist. Christy Danielson recorded five saves on 15 Nokomis shots.
Sara Davis’ goal 1:21 into the first half and Jenn Crudell made three saves on nine shots for 5-2-1 Nokomis.
