SOUTHWEST HARBOR — The Southwest Harbor Public Library will sponsor an evening of education on the hawk at 7 Wednesday, Sept. 27, with Scott Grierson.
The migration habits of the hawk, its ability to see and its amazing flight speed — more than 200 mph — are a few of its qualities to be discussed by Grierson.
Grierson is a natural history teacher who will visit the library regularly during the fall and winter with his nature program made possible by the Friends of Acadia.
