PITTSFIELD — Ann Morrison has won the 1995 Maine Woman Sphere of Influence Award and was the April feature of The Maine Woman Magazine. Morrison is administrator of Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield.

A special award was given in honor of the late Sen. Margaret Chase Smith, who was featured in the February issue of the magazine.

Morrison began her role at the hospital when it was $500,000 in the red. Within a few years, the hospital was able to complete a $4.5 million expansion.
