CAMDEN — After a one-year interruption of activity, the Mid-Coast Amnesty International Group will hold a public meeting that will offer an introduction to human rights work and will focus on the re-establishment of an active presence in the midcoast region.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Our Lady of Good Hope Parish Hall, 8 Union St. A video on human rights work in Tibet will be shown and refreshments will be provided.
All those who are interested in assisting the reorganization and becoming active members are encouraged to attend. For more information, call 236-4298.
