Today marks the first snowfall of the season, and true to form, it’s rain, wet snow, and black ice. With my family, I made the trip from the Bangor Mall to my home in Corinth.

The traffic was crawling because the roads were treacherous. But alas, there was nary a sand truck in sight in Bangor, Glenburn or Kenduskeag. Apparently, someone got caught snoozing.

But hark! What do my weary eyes perceive as I cross the town line into Corinth? Why, it’s a well-sanded road! Finally, safe travel! Thank you to the vigilant crew at B.L. Grant & Sons of East Corinth. William P. Molloy Corinth
