EDINBURGH — Corey Harper, 19, of Enfield and a passenger were thrown from Harper’s 1987 Toyota pickup truck Sunday afternoon on Interstate 95 in Edinburgh when Harper allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and the truck drifted off the road.
Trooper Henry Dusenbery said that Harper and his girlfriend were traveling north on the highway when the truck passed a car and then abruptly drifted off the road and rolled over in the snow. Neither Harper nor his passenger was wearing a seat belt.
Both were taken to Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln. Harper was treated and released.
