AMARILLO, Texas – Eric Brown swished four of the Bulldogs’ seven 3-pointers on his way to 18 points, to lead Clarendon College to a 70-52 victory against the University of Maine-Fort Kent, in the National Small College Athletic Association’s tourney Thursday.

Randy Williams added 13 points, and Marty Hardy and Josh Wright each popped in 10 points for Clarendon (Texas) College which advances to the second-round of the double-elimination tourney.

Anthony Jarrett led the Bengals with 19 points, while Scott Richardson and Nathan Guy added eight points each.

UMFK’s loss was its second after Tuesday’s 98-64 loss to Louisiana Christian.
