CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Chad Fleischer and Picabo Street turned in the fastest times in men’s and women’s downhill training runs Monday in preparation for the U.S. Alpine Championships at Sugarloaf-USA. Fleischer finished ahead of Olympic gold medalist Tommy Moe and Jason Rosener.

CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Chad Fleischer and Picabo Street turned in the fastest times in men’s and women’s downhill training runs Monday in preparation for the U.S. Alpine Championships at Sugarloaf-USA.
Fleischer finished ahead of Olympic gold medalist Tommy Moe and Jason Rosener.
Street was first in the women’s run, followed by Megan Gerety and Kjer Bjorn-Roli.
More than 200 skiers arrived at Sugarloaf over the weekend for the championships, sponsored by Chevy Trucks, and Maine’s Tall Timber Classic.
