Republican Stephen M. Stimpson is seeking election to the Maine House of Representatives in District 119, part of Bangor.

Stimpson, 37, lives with his wife and children on Union Street in Bangor, and is a University of Maine student.

A businessman, Stimpson believes in economic development and growth in order to lower taxes and develop a larger job base.
