HERMON – Jon Austin of Otis took the checkered flag in the Sunoco Race Fuels 100 at Speedway 95 on Sunday.

Austin led the bulk of the way in picking up the win. John Phippen of Bar Harbor, who finished second, challenged Austin after a restart which was caused when Kim Gray of Bar Harbor rolled her Monte Carlo on the 67th lap.

Gray was treated at Eastern Maine Medical Center and released.

Scott Chubbuck of Wiscasset finished in third.

Unity Raceway

At Unity, Steve Nelson of Albion ran to a two-length vicotry in the crash-filled Pro Stock Feature at Unity Raceway on Saturday.

Larry Pottle of Benton finished second and Danny Burgess of Weeks Mills finished in third.

Oxford Plains Speedway

At Oxford, Tracy Grodon of Strong proved he had the fastest car at Oxford Plains Friday by winning the Pro Stock feature.

Gordon started in the 18th position, but quickly moved up through the pack. Jerry Babb of Windham and Tommy Rowe of Turner rounded out the top three racers.

Holland International Speedway

At Holland, N.Y., Andy Santerre of Cherryfield won the pole position in the NASCAR Busch North Series, Grand National Division Chevy/Busch 150, but after a re-draw had to settle for the outside pole position.

Santerre would also settle for second place as Dave Dion of Hudson, N.H. took the checkered flag in Saturday’s race.Kelly Moore of Scarborough finished in third.

Mike Gallo of Sanford finished in 21st after his engine overheated causing him to leave the race on lap 138.

Wiscasset Raceway

At Wiscasset, Don Belisle of Derry, N.H. picked up his second Pro Stock feature of the season on Saturday.

Belsile took the lead at the halfway-point in the 35-lap feature and never looked back. Scott Chubbuck of Woolwich took second and Danny Grover of Wiscasset finished third.

Northeast Pro-Stock Assoc.

At North Woodstock, N.H., Jeff Taylor of Farmington is batting 1.000 in the Northeast Pro-Stock Association Series, as the three-time Oxford Plains Speedway Pro-Stock champion won the Tilton Ford/Plymouth Auto Village 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, N.H. Sunday.

Taylor took the lead away from veteran Jeff Stevens of Kennebunk on lap 58 after the field was reshuffled by a caution flag, and held off the strong surge of Unity’s Ralph Nason at the finish line.

Stan Meserve of Unity finished third while Tommy Rowe of Turner and Stevens rounded out the top five before a capacity crowd at the Granite State quarter-mile oval.
