GLENBURN — Incumbent Mark Stevens and former Councilor Marie Saucier were elected to two three-year terms on the Town Council during Tuesday’s election.
Stevens received 612 votes and Saucier collected 446. Incumbent Edwin Rosso came in third with 427 votes.
Deborah Cookson and Michael Dalton were the winners of the two three-year terms on the school committee. Cookson received 494 votes and Dalton received 589. Incumbent Sherry Applebee came in third with 367 votes and Brenda Moody was fourth with 298.
Voters also approved an amendment to the road ordinance that would allow the town to pave some of its public access roads to Pushaw Lake.
Under the former ordinance, the town was only allowed to maintain those roads as gravel roads. The vote to approve the amendment was 507-337.
