Regarding the column by Alexander E. Alexeev, titled, “Is Russian democracy inevitable?” (BDN, June 15-16), it should be clarified that Crimea is in Ukraine, not Russia. Incidentally, these are two separate countries, each with its own government. Bohdan M. Slabyj Brewer
