Bangor West, Old Town and Border each advanced with wins Tuesday in the District 3 11-and 12-year-old Little League tournament.

Bangor West stopped Calais 8-2, Old Town topped Bucksport 11-7 and Border eliminated Sunrise 12-0.

In Junior League play at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Bangor stayed unbeaten with a 9-4 win over Brewer. Brewer will play Old Town today at 2:30 p.m. and Bangor will play the winner at 7:30.

In Senior League action, also at Mansfield Stadium, Bangor eliminated Old Town 16-1. Bangor will play Brewer today at 5 p.m.

Damariscotta eliminated Belfast 6-2 in District 2 Little League tournament action. Damariscotta will play Knox Thursday.

Little League, 11-12

Border 12, Sunrise 0

At Steuben, Chris Stewart rapped two singles and a double, driving in five runs to lead Border to the win.

Matt Day added a single and a double for Border while Chris Blanchette and Derek Nickerson contributed two singles each.

For Sunrise, Chekotah Wingo singled.

Old Town 11, Bucksport 7

At Bucksport, Chad Adams-Christiansen slammed a three-run homer in the sixth inning to lift Old Town to a win.

Nick Buck added a double and single to help Old Town remain undefeated.

Warren Chase had a solo homer and a two-run homer and Abram Allard had two singles for Bucksport.

Bangor West 8, Calais 2

At Calais, Jason Britton hit a pair of doubles and a single and knocked in two runs to back the combined four-hit pitching of Andrew Treadwell and Chris Lunn as Bangor West eliminated Calais.

Treadwell hurled five innings of four-hit, two-run baseball, striking out seven and walking two. Lunn pitched a scoreless sixth inning.

Kevin Proctor had a pair of singles, including an RBI single in the two-run first inning that gave Bangor the lead for good. Britton’s two-run double in the three-run second inning helped build the lead to 5-0.

Andy Savage had two bases hits for Bangor West and Derek Shain and James Dube contributed RBI doubles.

Jordan Flood’s RBI double and Greg Wilson’s run-scoring single paced Calais.

At Bangor, Ryan Curran spun a four-hitter as Bangor collected the win.

Chris Sayles paced Bangor with a single and two runs. Curran struck out eight and walked two.

For Brewer, Adam Barnes smacked an RBI double.

Bangor 16, Old Town 1

At Bangor, Jeremy Karam ripped three singles and an RBI triple to lead Bangor to victory.

Dan Martin hit four singles for Bangor while Derek Damon added a pair of singles.

For Old Town, Dan Emerson doubled.
