Tim Morrow’s single, Robert “Popeye” Cole’s walk and Chad White’s bloop single loaded the bases before Garret Quaintance (3-for-4) hit a two two-run single.

Carlos Mota’s RBI double sent Dave Masi (2-1) to the showers. With two out, Cox hit a two-run single to cap the scoring. Cox’s 25 steals lead the league

Maddock struck out the leadoff man in the ninth, but ran into trouble with a walk and a Darren Doucette single before striking out the last two batters to end the game.
