EAST CORINTH – Sandy Beaulieu’s tally with 1:57 left in the first overtime, off an assist from Holly Stelmok, lifted the Foxcroft Academy Ponies to a 2-0 schoolgirl soccer victory the Central Red Devils Thursday afternoon.
Stelmok chipped in a goal of her own and Bonnie Laita added a first-half score for the 2-0 Ponies. Goalie Beth Merrill stopped two of seven shots.
Julie Bragdon had both goals for 0-3 Central, while Amanda Wright turned back six of the 19 shots she faced.
Katahdin 4, Lee 1
At Sherman Station, Jenny McNally scored two goals to lead the unbeaten Katahdin Cougars to the win over Lee Academy.
Tiffany Vance added a goal and an assist for Katahdin, now 4-0. Gwen Pockock added a goal and Laura Ordway made six saves on eight shots.
For Lee Academy, now 1-3, Katie Cormier scored a goal and Shannon Cole stopped 20 of 28 shots.
Sumner 3, George Stevens 2
At East Sullivan, Karrie Willey knocked in the rebound off Joslyn Brenton’s corner kick to give Sumner a come-from-behind victory in overtime.
The Tigers rallied from a 2-0 deficit and tied it up on a pair of second-half goals from Jenna Smith. Marita Buteau made seven saves on 10 shots for Sumner, now 2-1.
For George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill, also 2-1, Emily Lewandowski scored two first-half goals. Betsy Lepper stopped six of nine shots.
Schenck 5, Penquis 0
At East Millinocket, Erin Chavarie and Erin Johnston each notched a goal and an assist to lead Schenck to victory.
Jen Glidden, Carrie Lynch and Nicole Brown each added a goal for the Wolverines, now 2-1. Holly Rosebush registered 11 saves on 15 shots.
For Penquis of Milo, also 2-1, Jill Horne made 16 saves on 21 shots.
Brewer 2, Nokomis 2
At Brewer, Rachel Young scored with 8:19 left in regulation to force overtime after the Witches trailed 2-0.
Becca Smith added a second-half goal for Brewer, now 0-1-1. Heather Hogan and Heidi Everett combined to make three saves on 14 shots.
For Nokomis of Newport, Kelly Madigan and Andrea Leadbetter each scored a goal. Monica Kus made five stops on 11 shots.
Orono 3, Hermon 0
At Hermon, the 2-1 Red Riots notched all three of their goals in the last 20 minutes of regulation to earn the victory.
Molly Holmberg tallied twice for the winners and Megan Westhoven added the other. Goalie Katie Yerxa rejected six of the eight Hermon attempts she faced.
Pam Poland sent back 14 of 20 in net for 1-2 Hermon.
Bucksport 5, John Bapst 0
At Bangor, the Golden Bucks poured it on in the second half, scoring all five goals en route to the win.
Jessica Gordon paced 3-0 Bucksport with three goals while Sadie Alley and Kara Henderson each chipped in with a goal. Kelly Downes made seven saves on 12 shots.
For John Bapst, now 0-3, Katie Lawler and Kristen Sekera combined to stop nine of 18 shots.
Camden-Rockport 2, Rockland 0
At Camden, Windjammers goalie Jaime Albright made five saves on nine shots to shut out the Tigers.
Jesse Wooton scored off an Emily Gove pass for Camden-Rockport and Shannon Hall set up Abbie Leonard’s goal.
Rockland goalie Freedom Hanlin made 10 saves on 23 shots.
Searsport 4, Bangor Christian 0
At Searsport, Chandra Robert scored two goals to lead the host Vikings to their third win in three games.
Shanna Geary had a goal and an assist for the Vikings. Jen Ellis scored a goal and goalie Jessica Barton made one save on five shots.
Stephanie Regan made 14 saves on 22 shots for the 3-1 Patriots.
MDI 4, Ellsworth 1
At Mount Desert, Jana Silk scored two goals to spark the Trojans to victory over the Eagles.
Shelagh Slack provided a goal and an assist for Mount Desert Island, while Alana Beard scored a goal. Maija Kaldro added an assist. Lacey Richards made five saves on nine shots for the 3-0 Trojans.
Kim Beekman scored the goal for 1-2 Ellsworth. Cindy Bromley made 13 saves on 24 shots.

At Bangor, Allan Sage beat goalie Andy Bye, unassisted, for the only goal of the game and a win for the 2-1 Patriots.
Josh Ouellette was a perfect five of five in net for the winners.
Bye saved eight of the 19 Bangor Christian shots he saw for 0-2-1 Deer Isle-Stonington.
Winslow 3, Mount View 0
At Winslow, Zach Reynolds scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Black Raiders to the win.
Jason Rauch added a goal and Mark Gunning had two assists for 3-0 Winslow.
For Mount View of Thorndike, now 0-2-1, Andrew Stevenson made 20 saves on 25 shots.
Medomak 1, Wiscasset 0
At Wiscasset, Aaron Miller knocked in the rebound off a Robert Lee shot in the second overtime to give Medomak Valley of Waldoboro the win.
Keith Simmons made nine saves on 18 shots for Medomak, now 2-0.
For 1-2 Wiscasset, Tom Deschaine stopped 11 of 14 shots.
Camden-Rockport 2, Rockland 0
At Rockland, Zach Cohn scored a goal and had an assist to lead Camden-Rockport to the win.
Max Leighton added a goal for the 2-1 Windjammers and Drew Mazzeo stopped 13 of 15 shots.
For 1-1-1 Rockland, Derick Prescott made 18 saves on 27 shots.

Mattanawcook 1, Stearns 0
At Lincoln, Laura LaVallee scored the game-winning goal in overtime on Mattanwcook Academy’s last penalty corner.
Angie Hainer and Mandi McLaughlin each had an assist on LaVallee’s goal. Angie Brawn made two saves on four shots for the Lynx, now 2-0.
For Stearns of Millinocket, now 0-3, Colleen Burgess made 10 saves on 14 shots.

At East Corinth, Teresa Dow scored 28:30 into the first half to lift Central to the win.

At Pittsfield, Kristyn Graham scored two goals to lead Maine Central Institute to the win.

Foxcroft 12, Hermon 1
At Hermon, Becky Warren scored five goals to guide the Ponies past the Hawks.
Kelly Dow chipped in with a goal and an assist for the 3-0 winners. Amy Smith, Jewell Iannetta, Ronnie Johnson, Davan Clawson, and Sara Lovell each chipped in with a goal. Goalie Cassie Hoffman made three saves on four shots.
For 0-3 Hermon, Megan Maskus scored an unassisted goal and goalie Tina Colella made 10 saves on 22 shots.
Dexter 1, Orono 0
At Dexter, Jessica Girard scored off a Megan Titus corner at the 8:23 mark of the second half to lift the 1-2 Tigers over the 0-2 Red Riots.
Goalie Nancy Batchelder was a flawless two of two in net for Dexter.
Jenn Brooks turned back 10 of 17 shots in the Orono goal.
Camden-Rockport 1, Rockland 0
At Rockland, Jill Sady beat Rockland goalie Gloria Jodill at the 17-minute mark of the second half to give the 2-1 Windjammers the victory.
Heather Taylor was perfect in net for the winners, stopping five of five shots.
For 1-1 Rockland, Jodill turned back 12 of the 13 shots she saw.
Belfast 2, Maranacook 1
At Belfast, a Sarah Annis tally on a penalty stroke with 9:52 left in the second half was the difference as the 1-1 Lions edged the 0-3 Black Bears.
Liz Kelley chipped in the other Belfast score and goalie Katie Small saved two of three.
Katie Morrison notched the lone goal for Maranacook of Readfield. Paige Holmes rejected 16 of the 18 shots she saw in net.
