College STEVE TARDIF

Steve Tardif of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine has been named the New England Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Tardif, a freshman tailback from Biddeford, carried 47 times for a NEFC-record 352 yards in a 21-20 loss at Westfield State. He also was named the ECAC New England Rookie of the Week.
