The 14th Great Caribou Bog Wicked Winter Ski Tour and Race will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 11 a.m. Proceeds will benefit Shaw House, a shelter for homeless children in Bangor.

This year, the 18.8-kilometer cross country ski event will follow a freestyle format. Entries can be picked up at area ski shops, or by writing Caribou Bog Tour, P.O. Box 873, Bangor, Me. 04402. Race-day registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Bangor Mall.
