BUCKSPORT — Mainely Families has begun a parent support group that will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at the Bucksport High School Library, Broadway Extension.

Parents share their experiences raising preteens and adolescents, offering support and guidance to other parents in the hope of preventing new problems before they occur.

Topics include setting guidelines, substance abuse, curfews and unacceptable behavior.
