EAST SULLIVAN – Jennifer Richardson scored 10 of her 16 points in the fourth quarter to lift the Sumner Tigers past the Washington Academy Raiders 54-49 in schoolgirl basketball action Monday night.
Sam Scott also contributed 16 for Sumner of East Sullivan.
Holly Strout paced Narraguagus of Harrington with 12 points, while Connie Look and Casey Kelley added 10 each.

At Alfond Arena in Orono, Josh Richard scored three goals to power the Bulldogs of Fairfield.
Richard added an assist to his hat trick, and Keith Jameson and Caleb Richard each posted a goal and an assist. Casey Holmes made 18 saves on 19 shots in net for 5-3 Lawrence.
Nate Rand tallied the lone goal for the 1-6 Indians, getting assists from Nick Soucy and Jeremy Dill. Goalie Jeremy Smith saved 26 of the 31 shots he faced.
