The names of sponsors of legislation which would continue the goals of last November’s Ban Clearcutting referendum in a Tuesday story came from the revisor of statutes, not from the chairwoman of Forest Ecology Network.

Two Presque Isle High School girls basketball players were listed incorrectly Monday morning as playing for Hampden Academy in a report of Saturday’s game. Shannon Reynolds scored 17 points and Angela Pulcifur 10 for the Presque Isle Wildcats.

The dollar amount which the town of Veazie agreed to reimburse Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. for tax abatements for 1994 and 1995 is $106,419.21 for each year. The figure published in a report in Tuesday’s MaineDay was incorrect.

A Page Two column on Tuesday incorrectly stated that Jean Hay ran for U.S. Senate twice. She was a candidate for the Senate in 1996, but ran for the U.S. House of Representatives in 1994.
