GLENBURN — Matthew Zamejtis-Brown of Glenburn has received his Eagle Scout rank, the highest in Scouting.

He is the son of Edward and Sally Brown of Glenburn and is a member of Troop 302. Brown is a senior honor student at John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor, and his interests there include varsity soccer, varsity basketball, varsity baseball, chess club, Order of the Arrow and Dirigo Boys State. He is captain of the soccer team. Brown plans a medical career.

His Eagle project included a series of community projects for Glenburn in appreciation of the recreational opportunities afforded him by the town. He built picnic tables, an overhead shelter and stained an athletic equipment storage building.
