On Feb. 25, Bangor voters will fill a vacant seat on the city council. Richard Gwinn is the best choice for Bangor’s future. I know Richard well and am confident that his commitment to this city, his energy and enthusiasm, and his compassion for people, will serve us all well in city hall.

I am a registered Republican and have been for years. However, in this nonpartisan election, I am supporting Richard because of who he is, not because of party affiliation or who else is in the race.
