PORTLAND — Lyle Lovett will perform one show only at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the new Merrill Auditorium at City Hall in Portland.

The Portland appearance will be Lovett’s only New England concert, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, at the Merrill Box Office, 20 Myrtle St. or by telephone at 842-0800.

Lovett was the last pop artist to perform at the old City Hall Auditorium in Portland three years ago. Since then, the hall has undergone an $8 million renovation.
