DOVER-FOXCROFT — In recognition of their active role at Mayo Regional Hospital, doctors and their families will be honored with a reception on March 28. The event is in conjunction with National Doctors Day on March 30.
“This reception is a way that we can thank the medical staff,” said Greg Bowler, president of Hospital Administrative District 4 directors. “We value their dedication to the community and most importantly, the quality of care they provide their patients,” he said.
Bowler said the medical staff was impressive and that every physician on the active medical staff was board-certified in their specialty. That means that a physician has successfully completed an approved educational program, otherwise called a residency, and an evaluation designed to assess their knowledge, experience and skills.
