BATH – Michael Scott representing the Harbor House Health and Fitness Center in Southwest Harbor finished sixth overall in the at the 1997 Maine State Powerlifting Championship on April 19 and 20.

Scott competed in the Master Division and at age 56 was the second oldest competitor in the meet. He lifted 435 pounds in the squat, 281 pounds in the benh press and 440 pounds in the deadlift.
