I thought it was some kind of clothes drive for schools, Coats for Kids or something. I thought I knew all about it before they ever told me.
Afterward, I found out the truth. I found that I didn’t know as much as I thought I did.
The Bangor Clean Clothes Campaign is more than a clothes drive. It’s a push for freedom against slavery in America and around the world, and right here in Maine; where every stitch of clothing is driven by blind ambition, greed and an abuse of authority.
Sweatshops are another word for a quick buck, cheap cost and mass production with abundant abuse of human rights. Tom D. Barker Bangor
