EAST MILLINOCKET – Mike Watson rapped a two-out, two-run single in the top of the seventh as the Penquis Patriots of Milo came from behind beat Penquis of Milo 6-5 Thursday.

Heath Reeves, who scored the game winner, led Penquis with a double, two singles and three RBIs.

Junior Joe Brown, making his pitching debut for the Wolverines, struck out nine and walked six. Mike Kimball singled twice.

At Eastport, pitcher Ryan Thornton set down seven Tiger batters and allowed just three hits to pick up the win for the Dragons.

Thornton helped his own cause with a double as Chris Bell rapped a double and a single for Woodland.

Corey Sullivan ripped an RBI-single to pace Shead.

At Mount Desert, Matt McFarland blasted a three-run home run and ripped an RBI single to give the Trojans the win.

Chris Curran hit two singles and a double as Jamie Cunningham chipped in with a double and a single for MDI.

Jamie Costa’s three-run bomb paced the Ponies.

Fort Fairfield 7, Limestone 5

At Fort Fairfield, Jason Cunningham fanned six while allowing just one hit for the Tigers.

Cunningham was victimized by five Fort Fairfield errors, including a three-run sixth inning in which Limestone didn’t hit the ball out of the infield.

Sean Russell ripped three singles and scored a pair of runs for the Tigers. Ryan Houghton added a single and three RBIs.

Ethan Bagley had the lone hit for Eagles with a single.

At East Corinth, the Minutemen crossed the plate six times in the top of the first inning to put the Red Devils away early.

Corey Streams plated five runs on a bases-loaded triple and a single for the winners. Darrin Daniels rapped two singles and a double.

Brandon Townsend hit two singles and Chad Marin knocked an RBI single for Central.

At Presque Isle, six Wildcat pitchers combined to hold Caribou to just four hits and three runs.

Courey McGlinn started things off with a three-run double in the first. He added a single and finished with four RBIs for Presque Isle. Nick Nadeau rapped a double, a single and knocked in three runs. Dustin Supa added an RBI double while both Chad Graham and George Graves ripped a single and had a pair of RBIs.

Scott Walton, Matt Bouchard and Jamie Shanahan all notched singles for Caribou.

At Lee, Tony Aldrete’s two-run blast in the top of the fifth inning was the difference as the Lynx tipped the Pandas.

Pitcher Leroy Cox went the distance striking out seven, walking five, and allowing five hits to earn the win. Cox also helped his own cause leading the game off with a home run.

Derek Dicker rapped two singles for Lee Academy.

At Guilford, Piscataquis pounded out 16 hits, including three home runs to remain undefeated.

Jeremy Farmer sparked the offense with a two-run shot and a single for two RBIs. Brody McKenney was 4-for-5 with three singles, a double and an RBI. Paul Regan and Andrew Edwards both added solo shots.

Kelvin Texeira ripped two singles for the Tigers.

Todd Collier smashed a triple and a double, knocking in three RBIs. Nick Russell added two singles and two RBIs while Sam Michaud notched a double, a single and an RBI.

Jon Mooney, Dave Brawn and Nick Cullen all had singles for Katahdin.

Dan Martin and Don Shroeder had a single apiece to pace Bangor Christian.

At Presque Isle, Marren Millard was a perfect 4-for-4 with four singles, two RBIs and two runs scored for the Wildcats.

Billie Hayward added three singles and two RBIs for Presque Isle. Cara Miller cracked a double and two singles, as she scored two runs and knocked in two.

Billie Jo Martin doubled in her only official at-bat and scored four runs for Caribou. Meaghan Lombard added two singles and two RBIs.

At Lee, Abbie Pickering belted a home run, double and a four RBI’s to power the Lynx offensive attack.

Tanya Mushero knocked in four runs on a double and a single to pace the Pandas. Stephanie Thurlow added three singles.

Ashlee Dow smashed a home run over the center field fence, added a double and knocked in three runs for Foxcroft Academy.

Julie Sjorgen and Mariah Dubay notched the lone hits for Hampden, both were sinlges.

At Searsport, Viking pitcher Sarah Webster fired a two-hitter, fanning 17 Patriot batters to pick up the win.

Webster helped herself out with the bat, ripping two singles as Jodie Larrabee rapped two singles and a double for Searsport.

Steph Sage knocked a triple and Rachel Sage chipped in a single to pace Bangor Christian.
