A story in MaineDay on May 5 incorrectly reported that field sobriety tests performed on a Gorham man by Bangor police Officer Brian Nichols were inconclusive. Nichols administered several tests that led him to believe John C. Speed, 21, of Gorham was under the influence of intoxicating liquor, according to the police report. A test taken later showed Speed’s blood-alcohol content was 0.21.
A chart published Saturday listing how members of the Maine House of Representatives voted on the gay rights bill listed the representatives’ seat numbers rather than their district numbers. Also, the vote by Rep. Russell P. Treadwell, R-Carmel, was listed incorrectly. Treadwell voted against the bill.
