Katahdin, Bangor East, Holbrook, and Bucksport all recorded victories during the District 3 Little League All-Star tourney on Tuesday.
Katahdin defeated Machias 8-7, Bangor East knocked off Moosabec of the Jonesport area 14-4, Holbrook of East Holden topped Border of Houlton 16-3 and Bucksport stopped Hampden 11-0.
On Monday, Katahdin will play Old Town, Bangor East will play the winner of Bangor West vs. Orono-Veazie game, Holbrook will take on Bucksport, Machias will battle the winner of Sunrise vs. Coastal, and Moosabec plays the loser of the Bangor West vs. Orono-Veazie.
On Tuesday, Border will take on Hampden.
Bangor East 14, Moosabec 4
At Bangor West, Bangor West pitcher Ryan Levesque pitched a no-hitter against Moosabec, but walked seven batters in a game that was shortened due to the 10-run rule.
Levesque aided his own cause with a single, a double and two RBIs. Samuel Muir chalked up a trio of singles and brought in three runs.
Cory Keeling and Luke Nabonzi mirrored each other’s performances, each with a double and two RBIs. Shaun Sullivan blasted a double and brought in a run, and Neal Lyons came through with a single and a double.
Although Moosabec had no hits through the course of the game, they did score four runs on walked batters.

Holbrook 16, Border 3
At East Holden, pitcher Bryan Snyder, Patrick Healy, and H.J. Hunter all blasted home runs in the bottom of the second inning to help give Holbrook a lead it would not relinquish.
The victory was called after five because of the 10-run rule.
Snyder also smacked another single for Holbrook, and Hunter delivered both a double and a single.
Adam Washburn and pitcher Derek Nickerson both had singles on the Border side.

Katahdin 8, Machias 7
At Machias, Katahdin’s Matt Malone threw 20 strikouts to help edge his team into victory in a close, extra-inning contest.
Malone also proved his worth behind the plate with a two-run home run shot and a single. Catcher Matt Malone also delivered a pair of singles.
For Machias, Todd Stevens chalked up an impressive 16 strikeouts as well as smacking a double at bat. Andrew Beam came up with a double, and Steven Colbeth knocked two singles.

Bucksport 11, Hampden 0
At Bucksport, Travis Pelletier slammed a home run and helped lead Bucksport’s insurmountable charge against Hampden in a game called after just five innings due to the 10-run rule.
Wade Hopkins, Andy Wentowrth and Adam Sheehan both singled, with Wentworth getting walked twice. Asa Jones doubled twice.
Catcher Kyle Dalton, Eric Glidden, and Josh Jordan all singled for Hampden.
