There is a full slate of stock car racing, in addition to Sunday’s True Value 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway, during the holiday weekend.

Hermon’s Speedway 95, Scarborough’s Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and Oxford Plains will have Thursday night racing with Bangor’s card scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway’s Thursday Thunder schedule and Oxford Plains’ weekly racing series listed for a 7 p.m. start.

Caribou’s Spud Speedway will have a 100-lap late model sportsman feature highlighting its 4 p.m. card on Friday and there will also be Friday night racing at Wiscasset Raceway (6 p.m.), Unity Raceway and Beech Riracing at Wiscasset Raceway (6 p.m.), Unity Raceway and Beech Ridge (both 7 p.m.).

Oxford’s Friday racing involves thunder drag racing.

On Saturday, Oxford Plains will have a 100-lap late model sportsman feature, the Tru Test Paint 100, beginning at 6 and Beech Ridge will have racing beginning at 6:35 p.m.

Sunday belongs to the 24th annual True Value 250 with heats beginning at 2 p.m. at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Fireworks exhibitions will be held at most of the tracks.
