MPA soccer rules meetings to be held

The Maine Principals Association’s Soccer Committee has established a policy that all schools which participate in the MPA sponsored soccer program must send a school representative to a soccer rules interpretation meeting with the State Soccer Rules Interpreter. Bob White, the Maine Association of Soccer Officials Rules Interpreter, will conduct the meetings.

The meetings will be held as follows: July 31, Washington Academy, 6 p.m.; Aug. 4, NMTC in Presque Isle, 7 p.m.; Aug. 10, Falmouth High School and Edward Little HS in Auburn, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., respectively; Aug. 17, Georges Valley HS in Thomaston and Ellsworth City Hall, 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively; Aug. 20, Waterville HS, 7 p.m.; Aug. 24, Orono HS, 7 p.m.

The meetings will be a joint meeting of area soccer officials and school representatives. All soccer coaches are urged to attend one of the meetings.
