COOPERSTOWN,N.Y. – A search is on for a top Maine baseball coach to assemble an elite 12-and-under team to represent the state in the Capital Games Invitational Tournament in Cooperstown, N.Y., next summer.

The coach will be selected by a board of current and former major league baseball players based on knowledge of the game, coaching prowess, sportsmanship and ability to work positively with young players. The coach will then supervise the process of selecting the top 13 players in the state to play in the Capital Games.
