CHICAGO – Right wing Jim Cummins and defenseman Eric Weinrich were re-signed Monday by the Chicago Blackhawks. Terms of deals were not disclosed.

Both players were restricted free agents, meaning the team could have matched any offer the players received from another club.

Weinrich played in 81 games and had seven goals and 25 assists. His 32 points ranked second to Chris Chelios among the team’s defensemen.
