AUGUSTA – Hunters who want to hunt deer of any sex this fall are reminded that the application deadline this year for free Maine any-deer permits is Friday. Applications have been mailed to those who applied last year.

They can also be obtained from town clerks, license agents and through the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. For information, call 287-8000.
