SOMESVILLE — Former Sen. George Mitchell, special envoy to Northern Ireland, will be at Port in A Storm Bookstore Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 4 to 5 p.m. to sign copies of his latest book “Not for America Alone.”

Mitchell has authored two other books, “Men of Zeal: The Iran-Contra Hearings” (co-authored with former Sen. William Cohen), and “World on Fire: Saving an Endangered Earth.”

Mitchell’s latest book is his perspective on the events and trends of the past decades including the Cold War, the fall of the communist state in Eastern Europe and the crucial role of American Democracy in the 20th century.
