Lamoreau helps Easton cruise past Washburn

WASHBURN – Erik Lamoreau scored two goals and added two assists to lead the Easton Bears to a 5-0 schoolboy soccer win over Washburn Saturday.

Marcel Chalou, Troy Whipple and Mike Ireland all added goals for Easton. Seth Harris had an assist.

Jeff Blackstone saved all 17 shots he faced for 1-1 Easton. Nick Thompson and Ben Umphrey combined to make 18 saves on 23 shots for 0-3 Washburn.

At Washburn, Krista Doody scored the game’s only goal as the Beavers beat the Bears.

Doody scored at 32:26 off an assist from Elizabeth Howard. Goalie Amy Allen made one save on two shots for 1-2 Washburn.

For 0-3 Easton, goalie Elizabeth Dudley saved 11 of 16 shots.
