BANGOR – Rob Worcester scattered five hits and struck out 10 to help Downeast eliminate Wicks 5-3 in an Eastern Maine Amateur Baseball League playoff Tuesday night.

Downeast will face Mid-Maine for the EMABL title tonight at 7:30. If Mid-Maine loses, another game at the same time will be played Thursday night.

Downeast’s Mike Tardiff provided early offense when he tied up the game at three on his RBI double in the fifth inning.
